The goal of Lightning Blackjack is to reach a hand value of 21 first before the dealer does. Aim to have a higher hand to avoid getting busted. Learn how to play this game by reading further below:

Playing Lightning Blackjack

The first thing you need to do is to place a bet during the betting round by choosing from the multicoloured chips. Here are their values:

• 1
• 5
• 25
• 100
• 500
• 1,000.

Take note that you cannot change your total bet amount after the betting round finishes, so make sure you bet wisely.

After you have placed your bets, the dealer gives out the first card and then places their upcard in front of them. After that, you and the dealer get another card, but theirs faces downwards first.

Now that you have two cards in front of you, you must make a decision. Here are the following actions you can do in this game:

• Hit - adds another card to your hand
• Stand - no cards added to your hand
• Split - splitting two of your cards into separate individual hands, which doubles your bet
• Double - adds another card to your hand and doubles your bet.

If you haven’t decided before the timer goes off, the game will automatically decide for you in the following conditions:

• If your hand is 11 or less, the decision is HIT
• If your hand is more than 11, the decision is STAND.

Aside from that, you should know that you are not allowed to Split or Double when you have insufficient funds. The game will automatically remove these two options if your balance does not meet the minimum requirement.

When the time for making a decision is over, the dealer will now reveal the other card. If you have a higher hand value or a Blackjack, you will automatically win the game. On the other hand, the dealer wins when they have a higher hand value than yours.

Another thing you should know about is that the dealer has the right to check the facedown every time their upcard is an Ace. When this happens, you are given the option to make an Insurance bet, which is equal to one half of your main bet. If the facedown is a face card, the round ends with the dealer’s hand winning. However, the game continues if it is not a Blackjack.

In this case, you have the chance of improving your hand value by either choosing to Double or Hit. However, you also need to be careful when deciding because there is the possibility of going bust or going over 21. When this happens, you will automatically lose your bet.

Payouts

Here are the following payouts you can get when you win a round:

• Blackjack pays 3:2-25:1
• A winning hand pays 1-25:1
• When the dealer gets Blackjack, the insurance payout is 2:1.

Be reminded that your exact payout depends on the total amount you placed for the round.

At the beginning of a round, you will need to place a bet and a Lightning Fee. This is used to fund the multiplier payouts that will be applied to your winning hand.

After the betting round, a set of panels will drop down behind the dealer. These contain hand values and their respective multipliers. Here is a breakdown of what multiplier value will show on each panel:

• Winning Hands (4-17, 18, 19, 20, 21): 2x to 15x
• Blackjack (ace and face card): 6x-25x

Take note that the multiplier value varies each round but they all follow the number range assigned to them.

For instance, if your final hand value is 19, you will win the multiplier assigned to that panel. Your multiplier will be applied to the next hand you play, which means that it will only be added to your total bet amount if you win again in the next round.
